Ayla Mahmud

My name is Ayla and I am a fourth year dental student. This year, I am a part of the event sub-team for the KGHI. I am passionate about improving health around the world, particularly in deprived communities with limited resources. I have taken part in the United Nations Millennium Fellowship to work towards sustainable development goal 3 (good health and well-being), in addition to taking part in the Dental Public Health Summer Programme at Harvard University to develop my knowledge on how to implement various health initiatives both at local and nation levels.
