Beatriz is a trained nurse from Portugal who started her career in the UK at UCL Hospital, 8 years ago. She worked in Elderly Medicine and then transferred to Clinical Haematology  for the last 6 years.

Beatriz has been involved with managing teams as a Deputy sister as well teaching. In an effort to pursue her passion for education, she joined the Clinical Practice Facilitator team in Haematology being responsible for the training of nurses within the unit from newly qualified to senior staff nurses.

In October 2023, Beatriz joined KCL as a Clinical Teacher in the Adult Nursing Team, where she hopes to further develop her teaching skills and competences.
