Biography
Ben is a PhD student in the Theoretical Particle Physics & Cosmology group at King’s College London, supervised by Professor Mairi Sakellariadou.
Ben was awarded an MSci degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics from King’s College London in 2020. After graduating he went on to work in industry first as an IT consultant, and then as an investor relations associate for a financial technologies company prior to starting his PhD.
Since joining the group in 2023, Ben’s work has focused on alternative theories of gravity beyond Einstein’s general relativity. He is particularly interested in exploring and constraining models by studying their modifications to gravitational waves and standard cosmology.
