Biography

Dr Benjamin Baig is a Consultant Liaison Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London. He holds CCTs in both General Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has completed an MPhil in Schizophrenia Genetics and PhD in Depression in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has held a Wellcome Trust Training Fellowship and academic positions at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Malawi. He has held the role as Deputy Director of International Affairs at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
