Bridget King completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Birmingham before joining King's College London in 2021 to undertake an MSc in Neuroscience. In 2022, she began her PhD in the Department of Psychosis Studies under the supervision of Professors Alice Egerton and Matthew Kempton, funded by the MRC Doctoral Training Partnership (MRC-DTP). Her PhD uses multimodal neuroimaging approaches in large international cohorts to better understand why some individuals with schizophrenia do not respond to antipsychotic treatment. In 2025, Bridget received the SIRS Early Career Award in recognition of this work.
