Biography

Brownen joined the faculty in 2021 as a teaching fellow and joined the AN1 team teaching team. Since joining she has become the deputy module lead and module lead for the optional level 5 and 6 Cancer care module. She is also the faculty partnership lead for Chelsea and Westminster and a guest lecturer at Plymouth University. She holds a hybrid role working for the faculty part time and working clinically as a practice educator.

Bronwen's clinical background is in oncology and she is passionate about promoting and supporting the emotional wellbeing of staff and students and completed her Professional Nurse advocate training in 2022. In her academic role she supports students as a personal tutor and dissertation supervisor and is part of a module leadership team. She has supervised students on both undergraduate and post graduate taught programmes, supporting them with quality improvement proposals.
