Charlie Lyons-Rothbart is Lead Commercial Counsel, EMEA, at CoreWeave, a leading provider of specialised cloud infrastructure for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. A solicitor specialising in AI and emerging technologies, Charlie advises on the legal, regulatory, and commercial frameworks underpinning the development, deployment, and scaling of advanced software and AI systems.

Prior to joining CoreWeave, Charlie established and led the legal function at autonomous driving company Wayve. In private practice, Charlie advised organisations ranging from early-stage start-ups to multinational technology companies across sectors including telecommunications, financial services, healthcare and robotics. Over the last decade, Charlie has been focused on the intersection of technological innovation and evolving regulatory regimes, including those for AI, and contributes to discussions on AI governance and policy challenges.
