Chiara Moscardin joined King’s College London Language Centre in 2011. She holds a Laurea Triennale in Mediazione Linguistica e Culturale from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy (2007), and a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Translation (English–Italian) from the University of Westminster, UK (2011). She speaks Italian, English, and Spanish.

Chiara teaches Italian at King’s Language Centre across all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. She has experience teaching both Short Courses and assessed modules, supporting students in developing their language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in using Italian in a variety of contexts.

Her teaching approach is communicative, engaging, and supportive, encouraging students to use Italian actively from the outset while developing a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and cultural awareness. She also has experience preparing students for formal assessments and final examinations, marking coursework and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to support students’ learning and progression.

Chiara enjoys working with learners from diverse backgrounds and with different motivations for studying Italian, whether for travel, work, academic purposes, or a personal connection to Italy. She aims to make language learning both enjoyable and rewarding, helping students develop practical communication skills while gaining a deeper appreciation of Italian culture and society.
