Biography
Chonmanan Khanthavudh, also known as Nooknik, is a mental health nurse by background and is currently pursuing a PhD in the Division of Care in Long Term Conditions at Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery, and Palliative Care, King's College London. Her research focuses on mental health recovery and the implementation of recovery-oriented practices in community and primary mental health care settings.
Her PhD work aims to enhance the role of village health volunteers (VHVs), a key community workforce in low- and middle-income countries, in promoting more recovery-oriented mental health care.
Chonmanan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science (First Class Honours) from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, where she also serves as an assistant instructor. She earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Nursing (High Distinction) from Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery at University of Sydney.
