Biography
Christopher Brown is a barrister and member of Matrix Chambers. He specialises in EU and UK competition law, public procurement law, State aid and other aspects of economic regulation. Recent and ongoing cases include private litigation relating to interchange fees, US Dollar LIBOR and the Trucks cartel. Brown is co-editor of UK Competition Law: the New Framework (OUP); is a longstanding contributor to leading practitioner work Bellamy and Child’s European Union Law of Competition (most recently to the 8th ed, 2018); and is a past editor of (and current Advisory Board member for) the Competition Law Journal (Elgar).
Research interests
All aspects of UK and EU competition law, with a particular focus on private enforcement.
