Biography

Dr Claire Hawkes joined King's College London in July 2022 from the Emergency, Prehospital, Perioperative and Critical Care group at the Clinical Trials Unit at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick.

Before moving into academia, she worked as an adult critical care nurse in intensive care and cardiac intensive care and at Bangor and Oxford Brookes Universities as a researcher and a Lecturer in Adult Nursing.

  • Including the role of members of the public
  • Emergency care and treatment planning
  • Implementation research
  • Process evaluation in clinical trials and sing mixed methods
