Biography
Daniel joined King's in February 2020 as the Senior Communications Manager for Alumni communications. In 2021, he took on the new role of Senior Communications Manager for the Faculty of Arts & Humanities leading a team responsible for all internal and external communications for the faculty.
Prior to joining King's, Daniel worked as a broadcast journalist for news organisations in the UK, including ITN, ITV, and the Press Association.
Daniel holds an MA in Television Journalism, from Goldsmiths College, University of London. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and holds Media Law qualifications from both the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) and the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).

The Senior Communications Manager leads the Faculty's communications team and is responsible for all output from the Faculty. They are responsible for all news, features, media, production, websites, social media and newsletters that engage with staff, students, partners, and the public.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the output and external reputation of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities.
- Working closely with Faculty leadership on staff, student and external messaging.
- Manage a six-strong communications team.
- Oversight of all communications channels, including: 14 websites, 20+ social media accounts, email newsletters and publication of 100s of news stories and events every year.
- Providing guidance on branding, media work, events marketing and University communications policy.
