David Chandran joined Kings College London in 2014. His research is on the implementation of Natural Language Processing (NLP) to extract information from clinical records, with a focus on utilizing deep learning. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Manchester Metropolitan University and a Masters of Research in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Liverpool.
