Dr Deniz Bozkurt is joining the Faculty as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Clinical Trial Delivery, having recently completed her PhD in Nursing at NMPC. Her doctoral research focused on diabetes management and women’s health, with particular interests in digital health interventions.

Before taking up her new role, Deniz worked as a research assistant across three different research projects within the Divisions of Methodology, FOLSM & GSTT, and CLTC. This experience allowed her to work across different methodological approaches and clinical research areas, and provided a strong foundation for her transition into clinical trial delivery.

At CLTC, Deniz will contribute to clinical trial delivery and research, building on her previous academic and clinical nursing experience. She has also been contributing to teaching in adult nursing and MSc supervision in clinical diabetes modules. Deniz is a member of a European COST Action project and, drawing on her extensive international clinical nursing experience, is committed to advancing patient-centred care and translating research into meaningful improvements in healthcare practice.
