Donald Wong is the Research Operations Manager within the Department of Physics at King’s College London. In this pivotal role, he bridges the operational and academic dimensions of university research, acting as a key liaison among departmental staff, the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences, and the Research Management & Innovation office.

Donald is responsible for overseeing both pre-award and post-award processes. On the pre-award side, he handles costings and budgeting for grant and fellowship proposals, ensuring that applications are robust and compliant. On the post-award side, he manages financial oversight and procedural administration of awarded grants, while also supporting departmental and faculty research events and initiatives.

His work plays a crucial role in advancing the research environment in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES).
