Biography
Donghao Ouyang is a PhD student in the Centre for Language, Discourse and Communication (LDC). He holds an MSc in Applied Linguistics (with Distinction) from University of Edinburgh and obtained an BA in English Language and Literature (First Class Honours) in Wuhan University. His professional background primarily includes experience in teaching English as a second language to speakers of different ages and for different purposes. Before joining King’s, Donghao received his academic training with strong emphases on discourse analysis and sociolinguistics—from the nexus of which his current research and PhD thesis start. Donghao’s research interests include narrative analysis (small stories research), language and mobility, chronotope and migration theories.
