Biography
Gareth is Reader at KCL and honorary consultant psychiatrist at the South London Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. His research has focused on decision-making capacity and related areas, spanning theoretical to practical issues as well as policy impact. He leads the Wellcome Trust Mental Health and Justice Project.
As a consultant psychiatrist Gareth works in liaison psychiatry at King’s College Hospital. He is also a founding member and trustee of the Maudsley Philosophy Group Charity.
