Biography

Nazli Farajidavar is a Research Fellow in data sciences and machine learning at King’s College London. She holds a PhD and MSc from Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing, University of Surrey. Before joining King’s, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering at University of Oxford. Her research at KCL focuses on machine learning and NLP applications in developing predictive patient trajectory models, using data from EHR. Her research interests lie in the field of artificial intelligence, cognitive machine learning, transfer learning, NLP, image processing, cognitive robotics, eHealth and IoT.
