Dr Stephanie Lewis is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. She is also an Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Her research focusses on understanding the mental health difficulties experienced by young people who have been exposed to traumatic events. This work spans epidemiological studies with population-representative samples and clinical studies with electronic health records, and aims to inform and improve mental health care for young people affected by trauma.
