Ed has a degree in Transport Design from Coventry. He also holds a Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CertTESOL), and a Cambridge Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA).

Ed spent 9 years teaching English in Spain, Mexico, Japan. Additionally, he has also held the roles of Activity Manager and Centre Manager in summer school language programmes. When he returned to the UK, he taught ELT at Wimbledon School of English and then International House London. He has taught pre-sessional since 2021 before starting full-time in September 2023.

In his free time, Ed has interests in cycling, learning languages, photography and travelling. When he can, he also likes to dabble in 3D-printing, computer 3D modelling and repairing objects. He is also a motorsport fan and particularly enjoys watching Formula 1.
