Biography
Eirini is a Postdoctoral Research Associate on the BRIGHT impact study. Eirini’s research interests lie in understanding the developmental processes contributing to variability in developmental outcomes. As part of her work, Eirini will utilise a rich longitudinal dataset collected during the BRIGHT study in The Gambia to characterise the social, environmental and health risk and resilience factors shaping developmental outcomes from birth to preschool age.
Eirini undertook her PhD in Psychology at the Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development, Birkbeck, University of London. She holds an MSc in Psychological Research Methods from Birkbeck, an MA in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Early Childhood Education.
