Elena joined King´s in June 2023 as a visiting research fellow. She holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Valencia (Spain) and a PhD in Psychology from the University of East London (UK). During her PhD she investigated cognitive and physiological effects of non-invasive brain stimulation in low and high risk gambling. She is currently undertaking a postdoctoral fellowship exploring the potential of virtual reality to improve the assessment of gambling disorder.
