Biography

Eliot Kerdreux joined King’s College London in February 2026. His research focuses on understanding how prenatal exposure to toxic substances affects brain development in children, using MRI combined with behavioural and cognitive assessments. He earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Université Paris Cité in 2025 (UNIACT, NeuroSpin / NeuroDiderot, Inserm lab), where he worked to improve etiological diagnosis, clarify pathophysiology, and predict cognitive disabilities in children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Before his doctoral studies, he obtained a MSc in Neuropsychology from Université Libre de Bruxelles and a MSc in Neuroscience from Sorbonne Université. He also worked as a clinical neuropsychologist in France—where clinical psychology is practiced at the master-trained level—prior to pursuing his PhD.
