Liz joined the School of Security Studies as Business Support Officer in July 2023. Prior to this she worked as a Course Administrator and Programme Manager in various departments across KCL, LSE and UCL, and spent a year living in Manchester, working as a Crown Court Clerk.

Beyond her administrative career, she completed doctoral studies in Byzantine history at the University of St Andrews (2015) and currently runs a dessert recipe blog, called 'Waiting for Blancmange'.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support the School’s Business functions including finance, procurement, human resources, space management and mailing lists
• To support the Head of School/Departments, the Senior Leadership and Management Team(s), and academic and professional services colleagues in the smooth running of the School/Department
