Biography

Eliza Kitchener joins the Department of Nutritional Sciences as a Research Assistant, bringing a strong background in nutritional epidemiology, dietary assessment, and evidence synthesis. Her research interests include micronutrient deficiencies, maternal and child nutrition, and the use of critical evidence appraisal to inform policy.

At King’s, she will contribute to policy-relevant research on dietary reference values for iron in the UK, supporting the team’s efforts to generate high-quality evidence for national nutrition policy
