Biography

Ellie Wilson is Associate Director, London Engagement at King’s College London, steering King’s ambition to be a civic university at the heart of London.

Ellie stewards King’s relationships with key stakeholders and partners across the city including the Mayor of London and the Greater London Authority, the City of London Corporation and the local councils in King’s home boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Westminster. She also oversees partnerships with organisations and communities in the capital, including The Courtauld Institute.

A key focus is deepening engagement with our home boroughs and collaborating with the city’s businesses, policymakers, universities and further education institutions to make a positive difference amongst our local communities.

Prior to joining King’s, Ellie worked at London & Partners, the Mayor of London’s business growth and destination agency where she launched Med City and the first London Tech Week, joined international trade missions with the Mayor of London, and led global communications campaigns for the city.

Starting her career as a sabbatical officer at the University of Liverpool Guild of Students before moving to UCL, Ellie has worked for a broad range of charities, not-for-profits and companies including Airbus, Royal Society, the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Oxfam.
