Biography

Emily Todd is a Research Assistant working in Dr Lauren Heathcote's team at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. She has a background in Psychology (Royal Holloway, BSc) and Clinical Mental Health Science (University College London, MSc).

In her role as a Research Assistant, Emily supports cutting-edge research programmes which aim to identify mind-body mechanisms of physical and mental health, and test innovative behavioural medicine approaches to improve lives of those living with and beyond cancer.

Emily is working across two funded research programmes, the EMBody trial testing a new digital mindset intervention for childhood cancer survivors (funded by the Medical Research Foundation) and the Wellcome-funded research programme on interoceptive mechanisms of mental health in cancer survivors.
