Biography

Emma Flight has worked within Higher Education for over 22 years in various management roles including Assistant Registrar and Head of Academic Services. She has extensive experience of leading front-line services and central functions including Timetabling, Attendance Monitoring and the management of Mitigating circumstances systems. In her current role, she works within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Education team working to support Faculty and College harmonisation projects and continuous process improvement as well as managing the Programme teams in the Arts Cluster. She also leads on mitigating circumstances and assessment processes and has student safeguarding responsibilities. She is a Fellow of the Association of University Administrators, an AUA Advocate at KCL and was awarded AUA Member of the Year in 2021. She has a particular interest in the enhancement of professional behaviours through continuing professional development activities to promote reflective working practices.
