Dr Eoin Hyde

Eoin is Director and CEO of Innersight Labs Ltd, one of the industry partners involved in the London Medical Imaging & AI Centre for Value-Based Healthcare. Eoin has led the commercialisation of semi-automated medical image segmentation and visualisation software to assist surgeons with surgery planning. He is a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow.

Prior to Innersight, he was a post-doctoral research associate (PDRA) within the Translational Imaging Group (CMIC, University College London) working on clinical applications of abdominal image segmentation and 3D anatomical reconstructions, and he also spent three years as a PDRA within the Cardiac Electromechanics Research Group (Dept. of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, King's College London) developing computational finite element models of endocardial pacing techniques for Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT). Eoin holds a PhD in Computational Physiology from the University of Oxford with a dissertation focused on the parameterisation of continuum myocardial perfusion models from high-resolution anatomically-accurate discrete arterial vascular models, and a BSc (1st hons) in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from University College Cork.
