Biography

I developed my interest in viruses during my undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge. I then worked as a research assistant in the Deane lab at CIMR, gaining experience in molecular cell biology. This led me to pursue a PhD in the Bishop lab at the Francis Crick Institute, where I investigated the role of capsid in HIV-1 early infection. I am excited to join the Sumner lab at King’s College London as a postdoctoral researcher, where I will continue to explore virology in relation to the innate immune system.
