Biography
Fionntán O'Hara is a Lecturer in the History of Modern Latin America. His research focuses on refugees in 1980s Central America. His current book project examines refugee camps in 1980s Honduras as site of the global Cold War, exploring the interaction and overlap between refugees, guerrilla groups, humanitarian workers, human rights activists, and others.Before joining the History Department at King's College, Fionntán completed his PhD in the Department of International History at the London School of Economics where he also completed his MSc.
