Francisco Aguilar is a visiting Clinical Research Nurse in the department of St. John Institute of Dermatology within the Faculty of Life Science & Medicine at King's College London. This is a CRN funded post by the KHP Centre of Translational Medicine, and Francis will be supporting research in specific areas such as Skin Inflammatory diseases, Rare disease and Skin cancer. He will be screening and recruiting eligible participants in studies that aims to better understand fundamental disease mechanism over time and then identify when and how to best intervene. At KCL, Francis will be involved in Immunobullous and Melanoma studies and at the Skin Therapy Research Unit of Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital, Eczema and Psoriasis Trials. Francis has been a Research Nurse for 6 years, firstly in Renal, Urology and Diabetes and more recently Oncology Phase I and II studies. Prior to being a Research Nurse, Francis worked in Renal Acute Dialysis for 13 years.
