Biography

Gavin leads the Research & Impact department within Libraries & Collections and is responsible for ensuring that L&C meets the needs of King’s research and researchers.

He leads the Open Research, Archives & Research Collections and Special Collections teams, with responsibilities including open access publishing, research data, historic collections, public engagement, digitisation and open research more generally.

He joined King’s in 2012 having previously held senior roles in the libraries of UCL, University of East London and at the BFI National Film & TV Archive.
