Dr Regkoukos is the Research Operations Manager for the Department of Physics, King’s College London. He is a research-on-research specialist and Scope 3 Carbon accountant with a keen interest in sustainable and inclusive research practices.

George first came to King’s as an undergraduate before pursuing further studies at the London School of Economics, Sciences Po Paris, Moscow State University, and the University of Oxford. His postdoctoral research focused on sociolinguistics in contemporary Russia. George then joined the University of Cambridge as a Research Analyst before returning to King’s in 2024.

George manages research operations and holds administrative oversight of all research grants in the Department. He collates and analyses research grant data and assists academics with preparing and submitting grant applications. In addition, he serves as the administrative lead for Research Integrity within the Department, supports REF-related operations, and gathers EDI data.
