
Biography
George oversees the operational work on all assessment-related processes, collaborating with the Programme Manager on process delivery and improvement.His responsibilities include:
- Organising and overseeing assessment periods
- Organising and overseeing Assessment Sub-Boards and prize allocations
- Maintaining updated assessment-related guidance docs for the Professional Services team and academic staff
- Supporting colleagues and students with in-term assessments
- Overseeing Module Assessment Admin task updates
- Supporting Assessment Sub-Board Chairs with External Examiner onboarding
- Overseeing day-to-day workload of POs of assessment-related tasks and monitoring completion team tasks specifically regarding assessments
- Responding to minor assessment-related complaints
- Monitoring appeals and resolving queries
- Ensuring students records' accuracy in relation to assessments and progression
- Deputising for the Programme Manager
- Managing the Programme Officers in the Department of Engineering
