Georgie Lucas joined King’s College London in September 2024 and is the Centre Manager for the Freeman Air and Space Institute (FASI), based within the School of Security Studies.

As Centre Manager, Georgie oversees the Institute’s day-to-day operations, providing strategic and operational leadership to support the delivery of FASI’s research and engagement activities.

Georgie leads the Institute’s communications activities, including the strategic management of FASI’s website, newsletters, mailing lists and social media presence. In addition, she oversees the Institute’s events programme, coordinating and delivering a wide range of engagements from smaller roundtable discussions and workshops to high-profile flagship events, including the annual Chief of the Air Staff Lecture.

She further works alongside the Institute’s research staff to provide editorial and publication support, helping to showcase FASI’s leading publications to a global audience.

Prior to joining King’s, Georgie worked at Australia’s leading international policy think tank, The Lowy Institute, based in Sydney.
