Biography
Gerardo A. Torres Contreras is a Lecturer in Climate and Society in the Department of Geography at King's.
Gerardo is a social climate scientist specialised in the politics and social life of climate change responses. His research focuses on the processes of agrarian change resulting from climate mitigation technologies and the equity dimensions of energy demand reduction policies. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK.
