Dr Giada Lombardi
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Biography
Dr. Giada Lombardi holds a degree and a PhD in Bioengineering, with a specialization in neuroimaging, particularly functional MRI (fMRI). She is currently a Research Associate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) – Department of Psychosis Studies at King’s College London. Her primary research interests focus on understanding how brain functioning changes in the presence of mental health disorders, such as psychosis. She employs advanced neuroimaging techniques, including Dynamic Causal Modelling (DCM), to investigate neural mechanisms and networks dynamics, with the goal of identifying potential non-invasive MRI biomarkers that can enhance the characterization, diagnosis, and monitoring of these conditions.
