Research Associate
Dr. Giada Lombardi holds a degree and a PhD in Bioengineering, with a specialization in neuroimaging, particularly functional MRI (fMRI). She is currently a Research Associate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) – Department of Psychosis Studies at King’s College London. Her primary research interests focus on understanding how brain functioning changes in the presence of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. She employs advanced neuroimaging techniques, including Dynamic Causal Modelling (DCM), to investigate the underlying neural mechanisms and connectivity patterns associated with these disorders.
