Biography
Dr Gizem Morris is a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (BVSc), holds a PhD. in Marketing and Psychology from University of Westminster, and is a Teaching Fellow in Marketing at King’s Business School, at King’s College London.
Her executive teaching expertise includes affective neuro science, neuromarketing, psychology, consumer behaviour and entrepreneurial leadership. Her doctoral thesis examined emotional labour in the medical services, focusing on conflicts of professional identity in the veterinary profession. Her fieldwork was conducted in cooperation with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Over the years she has been awarded several teaching excellence awards from different British and American universities for her contribution to interdisciplinary teaching in both Business and Veterinary studies. She has acted as an educational expert and project consultant on European projects and was appointed as political peer leader by the Fulbright Commission on Bi-communal Peace-building youth camps.
Over a decade, she has been trained to facilitate multi-cultural dialogues at Youth for Exchange and Understanding, and has volunteered in the Society for the Protection of Sea Turtles in Cyprus.
