
Biography
Dr Grace Baptie is a mixed-methods researcher in the Department of Women and Children's Health at King's College London. Her work centres on women's health and sits at the interface of policy, research and clinical practice. Grace's research focuses primarily on perinatal mental health and birth experience. Her PhD explored risk and protective factors associated with birth trauma. Since completing her doctorate, she has held postdoctoral roles in clinical trials within perinatal mental health services, as well as policy and evaluation roles at Anna Freud, contributing to the national programme of Family Hubs and Start for Life services. Grace is currently a research associate for Ask the Institute - Women and Children's Health with King's Health Partners, where she supports and advises programme evaluation projects in women's health across South East London.
