Biography
Dr Greg Anderson is the Director of Core Facilities at King’s College London, leading the operations, strategy and development of our centrally managed research facilities. Greg brings a deep and holistic understanding of the university’s research environment, from the scientific and technical aspects through to the financial and operational. His long-standing involvement across the research community means he’s closely connected to the needs of researchers and the infrastructure that supports their work.
Greg has worked closely with the Vice President for Research & Innovation and the Dean of Research Infrastructure to strengthen how King’s manages and invests in research equipment. He led major university-wide initiatives to build a framework that supports collaboration, encourages equipment sharing and ensures our research infrastructure remains financially and environmentally sustainable.
As Director of Core Facilities, Greg is building on this work to ensure our facilities are closely aligned with King’s strategic research aims. By working collaboratively with academic partners and maintaining a clear oversight of the shifting research landscape, Greg will help shape King’s Core Facilities so they’re accessible, financially sustainable and well positioned to support King’s research ambitions.
