Grégorie studied at the University of La Réunion where he obtained his Master’s degree in Health Biology.

He then completed his PhD, focusing on innate immunity to viral infection. His research specifically examined the interplay between the host cell metabolism and the antiviral response against Dengue and Zika viruses.

Currently, Grégorie is a postdoctoral research associate in the Odendall lab, where he is contributing to research on IFN signalling pathways and how they affect Salmonella and Shigella infection, using relevant in vitro models.
