Biography

Hallie is currently pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Jay Patel in the Department of Physics at King’s College London. Prior to this, Hallie obtained her bachelor’s degree in physics from Skidmore College in New York, USA, followed by her master’s in physics with a focus on energy and sustainability from a joint degree with the University of Amsterdam and Vrije University in Amsterdam, Netherlands. During her master’s degree, Hallie conducted one year of research at AMOLF institute of fundamental physics into materials for more efficient solar cells.

Hallie has also worked in various full time professional positions, as a R&D Laser Engineer in New York, at a clean-tech startup in Tel Aviv, Israel, and as an IT Energy Consultant in the Netherlands.
