Biography
Dr Hannah Beckwith is a Clinical Lecturer at Kings College London and a final year Specialty Registrar at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She completed her MBChB at the University of Edinburgh in 2010 and undertook her postgraduate training in North East and North West London. She was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London in 2023 for research into the role of SGLT3 in Pregnancy and Lactation, which was funded by a competitive MRC Chain Florey Fellowship. She was successfully awarded an NIHR Development and Skills Enhancement Award for her post-doctoral training, and is currently working within the Department of Women and Children’s Health.
Her research explores the complex bidirectional interplay between ovarian function/ female sex hormones, cardio-renal disease and inflammation, utilising machine learning analysis of longitudinal population-scale clinical data to delineate and characterise biological pathways involved.
