Biography

Hari supports the day-to-day administration of the Department of Informatics, including finance, facilities, space, HR, equipment and room-bookings, with responsibility for:

  • Departmental purchasing and ordering stationery
  • Departmental finances for Informatics
  • Ad-hoc room bookings for departmental & centrally timetabled rooms (excluding room bookings for events, which the Faculty deals with)
  • Arrangements for visitors
  • Adding new Informatics staff to the departmental accounts database and website
  • Departmental equipment-booking systems
  • Supports the Senior Departmental Coordinator in departmental HR duties, such as interview organisation
  • Receives calls and organises meetings on behalf of the Head of Department
  • Deputises for the Senior Departmental Coordinator as committee secretary in departmental meetings
  • Supports the Senior Departmental Coordinator in managing departmental space and facilities
