Biography
Rabbi Dr Harrie Cedar is the Jewish Chaplain at King's.
Harrie Cedar has a PhD in Cancer Stem Cells and is Healthcare Chaplain at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, as well as the Jewish Chaplain at King's engaging with staff and students of any/no faith. Harrie has been involved with the establishment of Post-Graduate Healthcare Chaplaincy Training to meet NHS standards of care.
Harrie enjoys writing, seeing art shows, contemporary dance and listening to a broad range of music from 80’s dance to Hasidic Niggun. On Friday nights they enjoy sharing time with friends and family from their various worlds around the dinner table to welcome in the Shekinah. Harrie lives by the river with their partner, an artist.
