Dr Quigley completed her MBBS at Newcastle University (2006-2012), undertaking an intercalated Masters by Research (MRes) in Biomedicine at University College London (2010-2011). After completing the Oxford Deanery Foundation Programme (2012- 2014), she successfully obtained a place on the Maudsley Training Programme and commenced specialty training in General Adult Psychiatry. She was awarded a NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in 2015, and a NIHR Preparatory Clinical Research Training Fellowship in 2017. In 2022, she was awarded a Health Education England (HEE) funded Medical Education Fellowship to research the teaching of physical health competencies in psychiatry. She has a keen interest in medical education and recently completed a Masters in Clinical Education (King’s College London).

Research Interests

Dr Harriet Quigley MBBS MRes MRCPsych is undertaking a PhD as a MRC Clinical Research Training Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN). She also works as a Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at the National Psychosis Service, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). She has an interest in the interface between physical and mental health and the provision of effective and safe treatments.
