Programme Director of the AI Governance Leadership Programme

Biography

Harry Borovick is the Programme Director of the AI Governance Leadership Programme. He teaches AI Ethics and Practical AI Risk Management in Legal Practice at Kings College London.  

He is the General Counsel and AI Governance Officer at Luminance, where he leads the global legal and company secretarial function of a fast-growing legal tech company providing AI-powered solutions for document analysis and review. His international team spans legal, compliance, privacy, and human resources. He brings significant experience working with regulated technologies, including data privacy and AI, across sectors such as AdTech, gaming, and fintech, with a focus on cross-border, AI-driven business enablement and compliance.  

He is a LexLab Research Fellow at UC Law San Francisco, a Lecturer at Queen Mary University London and Barbri Global. He also sits as a member of the Technology Group of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) where he co-authored their guidelines on AI in arbitration. Most recently, Harry co-authored the IAPP’s AIGP textbook chapter on AI in Legal Practice.
