Hassana Moosa

Centre Administrator for London Shakespeare Centre

Biography

Hassana is the current research administrator at the London Shakespeare Centre where she manages all email communications, social media channels, as well as other administrative duties. She also assists with the co-ordination and marketing for centre events and works with the directors to research, strategize and run new centre activities.

Hassana has over four years of experience working in the HE sector as a lecturer, research assistant, course administrator, and teaching assistant in the English Department and Humanities Education Development Unit at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa. She has also worked as a freelance copywriter, marketing officer, and writer.

Hassana holds a BA in English, Visual/Art History and Economics (UCT), BA (Hons) in English Literature (UCT), a MA (Distinction) in English Language, Literature and Modernity (UCT), and is currently pursuing a PhD in English Literature at King's College London. Her research is on early modern race formation, Shakespeare, and representations of Islamic identity on the early modern English stage.
