Biography
Dr. Hassna completed her doctoral research at University College London (UCL), focusing on the neuroimaging characterization of extremely preterm individuals using advanced machine learning techniques and various MRI contrasts (T1, T2, Diffusion MRI, and fMRI). Currently, she is a Research Associate at King's College London (KCL), where she works on developing deep-learning methods for surgical data science. Her work spans a range of applications, from automatic sleep staging to surgical flow analysis. Dr Hassna contributed to building a real-time, multimodal data acquisition platform in a mock operating room at St. Thomas Hospital, London. This platform automatically captures diverse data streams, aiding in the advancement of surgical data science.
